16 Juni IT’S SUMMERTIME … at FLOW ART SPACE Basel.

Right on time for the return of June summer spirit and in perfect unison with ART BASEL 2026, they have curated a fantastic group art exhibition celebrating the summer from different interesting artistic positions.

It’s a privilege and pleasure to be counted among the artists exhibiting at this show.

I am showing my series GEOMETRIC POPPIES, which invites multiple perspectives on a summerly field of barley.

At the moment of creation, my inspiration was shaped by the lens of mathematics and scientific inquiry: Are we, as human beings, capable of deciphering nature, with higher mathematics at the deepest level of discovery? Or has nature a life and logic of its own? Indeed, are we in the position of the observer, capable of analysing, calculating, discovering, or aren’t we, in essence, part of nature, akin to poppies and barley ears and all the other species living in a field?

GEOMETRIC POPPIES are accompanied by the poem FIELD THEORY which I wrote in reflection of my photographic work.

There is immense beauty in this universe. My art is about seeing and unveiling it, and patterns like in geometry guide our view to the unseen. Thank you, FLOW ART SPACE Basel, for this opportunity and experience!
